Hi There...

First of all, thank you so much for visiting my site!  Hopefully I've posted somethings that you will find helpful; no matter where you are in your wellness journey.

Now that that's out of the way - a little bit about me....

Let me introduce myself:

My name is Amie Dutka and I live in Pittsburgh, PA but spend a good bit of time in Marlborough, MA .  I'm totally a Type A person who is always on the go, and always has something to say.  I fully believe that life is an adventure, and you should live every day to its fullest.  I also believe that you should always be who you really are, and not compromise that for anything! 

How I got here:

I've always considered myself relatively healthy.  It wasn't until I hit my  my mid-20's and  started to have some health complications that I really started to get curious about nutrition and how the various foods we eat impact our bodies, energy levels and overall wellness (it's really quite amazing).  I quickly found out that there is an overwhelming number or books, articles, blogs and posts out there on  "nutrition, wellness, eating clean" and a lot of that information contained contradicting theories about what and how to eat.  

I felt like I was in search of a unicorn while jumping from one diet fad to the next.  Many of these "diets" just left me feeling worse  physically and mentally. 

Finally I decided it was time for a different approach.... it took a few years (yes I said years) of experimenting to figure it out, but I finally have.  Now, not only are my medical conditions in check, but I have more energy to do the things  that I want to do.

It seems so simple now.  We (none of us) are created the same, so how can we expect one magical thing to work for everyone?  The answer is we can't.  

This is something that I've become extremely passionate about, and why I became a Certified Health Coach.  I'd love to share this amazing discovery with by help you discover how to nourish your body while keeping you accountable and implementing changes for sustaining life long wellness.
